The Jean Prouvé design for his Standard Chair takes into account that the majority of stress borne by a chair is transmitted through the back legs, which, in this chair, are much more robust, visually and mechanically, than those at the front. The legs are made in powder coated metal and the seat & backrest in a wood laminate.

Worldwide Delivery & Delivery Lead Times

D&D ships worldwide.
You pay for shipping what we pay for shipping—no hidden costs.
All product(s) are insured upon delivery.
We use DHL & Fedex global courier services.
Delivery Lead Times varies according to the origin of your product(s) & your delivery destination.
Prior to delivery, you will receive a dispatch email with your tracking number.

Standard Lead Times

Delivery within London: Same Working Day—Order by 10AM
Delivery within the UK: Next Day Delivery—Order by 10AM
Delivery within Europe: 1-3 Working Days
Delivery Rest of the World: 3-5 Working Days

Delays in delivery are often outside our control, especially when product(s) cross trade borders & inspected by Customs. Standard Delivery Service for large product(s) is kerbside only. If you wish to receive our premium unpacking service, please enquire.

Duties & Sales Taxes

Duties & Sales Taxes are calculated based upon your delivery destination, as shown on the relevant product page(s) & on your receipt. Product(s) are shipped DDP—Delivered Duty Paid—you can be confident you will not incur any other additional costs upon delivery.

Returns & Refunds

All product(s), except those marked as Bespoke and/or Made-To-Order, are returnable & refundable within 7 working days of receipt of product(s).
Product(s) which are marked Bespoke and/or Made-To-Order are non-returnable & refundable, except in the case of damage.

Voluntary Returns

Customers returning product(s) are responsible for return shipping & associated costs. Product(s) must be in original condition & packaging.
Refunds apply only to the value of the product(s) and associated duties & sales taxes, to the extent these are recoverable.
Shipping is non-refundable.

Damaged Returns

Customers receiving damaged product(s) are eligible for product(s) refund or replacement.
Proof of damage must be notified upon receipt of product(s).
D&D will manage the collection & bear the associated costs of return of damaged product(s) and replacement product(s).
